Meet Aircraft Leasing Ireland (ALI), a leading organisation at the forefront of driving sustainability in the aviation industry. Their mission is to bring together aviation stakeholders including lessors, airlines, fuel producers and financers to work towards a future of net zero emissions.  

ALI envisioned a groundbreaking event: The 2023 Global Aviation Sustainability Day, a gathering that would bring together the industry's key players to collaborate on cutting edge strategies for achieving net zero emissions. However, the challenges ahead were daunting. 

• Challenge #1: ALI needed to unite diverse industry stakeholders each with unique goals and concerns into one cohesive conversation. Managing such a variety of perspectives risked derailing the focus of the discussions. 

• Challenge #2: Ensuring the event itself lived up to its sustainability theme. This meant every aspect, from catering to venue management, had to align with sustainable practices without compromising quality. 

• Challenge #3: With high profile speakers such as Willie Walsh and Rory Sullivan and hundreds of attendees, the logistics were daunting. From speaker management to flawless event execution the pressure was big.

  • Encompassing Event Management: With 13 months of preparation gone into this event we had organised everything from revenue and sponsorship onboarding to venue souring, AV and staging, we handled it all with precision.  
  • Sustainability at the Core: We introduced innovative elements like edible cups and self-service check in kiosks to embody the events sustainability message.  
  • Seamless Speaker Management: Co-ordinating high-profile figures such as Willie Walsh, including their hotel bookings and speaker briefings, ensuring their experience was smooth.  
  • Engaging Attendees: We developed a custom event app that allowed real time interaction with panelists, adding an extra interactive element to the event.  

  The Incredible Transformation 

  Before: ALI faced the enormous task of creating a unified platform for sustainability discussions across the aviation industry. Tensions ran high, and the complexity of managing multiple stakeholders, speakers and logistics looked like an enormous task to complete.  

  After: The Global Aviation Sustainability Day 2023 became a lighthouse of collaboration and innovation. The Convention Centre Dublin was transformed into a hub of dynamic discussions, with every detail from catering, to branding, the event was glowing in sustainability. The energy in the room was amazing as the attendees engaged in meaningful conversations, equipped with new insights and ready to push forward the net zero agenda.
