Clash of the Companies 2024: Team Building for a Cause 

The Client’s World 

Clash of the Companies is Irelands leading team building event with a heart, this year was the 9th year of this event running and we were so happy to be a part of it again.  

COTC’s mission? To unite corporate teams from various industries while raising essential funds for sick children in Ireland. This year's event took place on the 28th of June 2024, and was set to be bigger and better, promising a day full of excitement, friendly competition, and friendship at the iconic RDS Dublin.   

There were challenges along the way: 

• How do you seamlessy manage 400 participants from different business sectors across a large venue? 
• How can you create an unforgettable event experience that keeps people engaged while supporting a meaningful cause? 
• Most importantly, how do you ensure everything runs smoothly from setup to tear down?  

We wanted to give our participants an experience they would never forget while ensuring that every detail reflected the heart of the cause.  

How Dynamic Events Created this Magical Event 

• Planning with Precision: From the early planning stages, we ensured that every detail was coordinated, from scheduling to logistics, and creating a seamless experience for all involved.  
• Creative Event Design: We crafted a spy themed digital treasure hunt that added an extra element to the hunt with a more immersive experience.  
• Full-Service Management: From set up to set down our team managed all logistics including custom decorations with archways, picket fencing, branded marquees, and game stations. We also provided entertainment including actors, a talented MC who spoke from start to finish making sure everyone felt comfortable, (Doug Murray) and a Dynamic social wall to capture and share the moments from the day. Once teams finished the event they were greeted with an open bar and food trucks to fill them up after a long day of running around Dublin City.  

The Incredible Transformation 

Before: Teams were excited but unsure of what to expect. There was a mix of anticipation and curiosity about how the day would unfold.  

After: The RDS was buzzed with energy as nearly 400 participants embraced the spy themed challenges, competing with enthusiasm and bonding as a team. The atmosphere was electric with dance offs, prizes being awarded and just general laughter and friendly competition filling the air.  

The Real Impact:  

• Almost 400 participants were fully engaged in the event.  
• Significant funds were raised to support Children's Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centers.  

The Real Magic Laid in The Moments: 

• Watching teams' band together to solve challenging clues, relying on each other's strengths.  
• Watching the participants faces light up after completing a task as they celebrated the small wins.  
• The collective sense of purpose everyone felt in supporting such an important cause.  

Success Story 

The event didn’t end after we announced the winners the impact continues to spread:  

• The teams left feeling more connected than ever with memories. 
• The funds raised directly benefit the Children's Hospitals providing crucial care to children all around Ireland.
