ESB Induction Event for New Employees

As part of the ESB Corporate Induction programme for their new hires, we have developed some ideas and a structure to move their events back to in person and bring them to life by connecting new hires, using gamification and smart technology.

The objective of the Connections event is to get the new ESB employees familiar with one another and to have some fun together. For this we have created a custom made ESB branded game screen and loaded it with personalised content from ESB.

The idea here is a light bulb which represents bright ideas, bright future and you can see we have some graphics around connections and connecting the brand values. To pad the game out we integrated a mixture of fun challenges including topics such as business and sustainability to name but a few.

The inductees receive a morning of information from different speakers from the ESB team. Then they are handed to over to us to be tested on how well they have been listening to the morning's speakers. Some of the questions in the game are directly related to some of the different speaker's content that morning plus the additional fun challenges we provide to help bond the group.

The event ends with a fun show back of the best photos and videos the group made during the game time. Finally, the winners are announced and prizes given to the victors.
