The Challenge

The Institute of Banking (IOB) was looking for an engaging and creative team-building activity as part of a larger corporate day held at Tulfarris Hotel in County Wicklow. The goal was to bring their team of 68 participants together in a meaningful way, fostering collaboration and unity through a fun, interactive experience that would culminate in a collective achievement.

The IOB team had just finished a morning of presentations and workshops, and with a relaxed lunch scheduled before the activity, they wanted something creative and energising for the afternoon. The challenge was to deliver an impactful, collaborative experience that could be seamlessly integrated into their day, while also allowing the final result—a beautiful mural—to be showcased during the evening’s festivities.

The Dynamic Events Magic

We stepped in with our signature Big Picture team-building activity, designed to bring teams together through creativity, communication, and collaboration. Here’s how we made the magic happen:

Pre-Event Setup
After the group’s lunch in the Fairways Restaurant, participants arrived in the Poulaphuca Suite for a briefing from our event manager. The briefing was concise but clear, with an emphasis on teamwork and communication, key elements of The Big Picture. Each participant would be painting a section of a larger canvas, with the final pieces coming together to form a stunning collective masterpiece.

The Painting Process
The room buzzed with energy as participants communicated and collaborated, ensuring that their individual sections aligned with the overall design.
