Pfizer's EM Transform 2023

Over 3 days Pfizer were coming together, from all over the world, for 3 days of virtual conferencing. The theme of the conference was 'Leaping into the future' and they wanted each day of conferencing to end with a #Joy session to end each day on a high and excite participants for the next day of conference.

The time set aside on day 1 for the #Joy session was 10 minutes, same for the second day, and then the third day was a 25 minute session.

Our friends, Agency X hosted the conferencing on their specially built virtual platform which meant on Day 1 and Day 2 we could live stream our event host to the participants.

Our app developers designed a game that incorporated all 3 days on one game screen. On Day 1 and 2 we decided it best to get people away from their computer screens as they had been watching the conference all day on them. To achieve this we gave them 2 photo and 1 video challenge that involved them racing around their house/office or even outside to achieve their goal with the challenge. As people submitted challenges they were given points based on the quality of their photos and videos. The 10 minute sessions then culminated in a quick score reveal and a showback of some of the best photos and videos.

Day 3 was a slightly longer session. We brought the conference members on to our Zoom for a 'speed dating' type networking event. Participants were sent to breakout rooms at random where they had a discussion task to complete before undertaking a photo/video challenge related to the discussion topic. We then brought them back to the main room before creating new breakout sessions so people were in new teams and the process repeated itself again. This allowed people to network with other members from around the world.

The add to the competitiveness of the entire event, members were competing as part of their region. Each individuals scores were added to their overall regions scores. This meant we had a winning region and a winning individual at the end of the event. The event culminated in an awards ceremony and highlights reel of the best photos and videos of the 3 days.

Overall, the event was a massive success as we helped spread #Joy amongst the conference members.
