Virtual Fundraiser in aid of Double H Ranch
Covid 19 has restricted the ability of charities to raise vital funds over the last 18 months. We partnered up with Double H Ranch to raise funds through a fun and engaging online event.
Covid 19 has restricted the ability for charities to fundraise over the last 18 months. Due to the pandemic all in person events have been cancelled and this has prevented any charities from raising the funds they need to operate. However, here at Dynamic Events we have developed exciting ways to help charities to fundraise online rather than cancelling the event.
The Charity
The Double H Ranch, located in New York’s Adirondack Park, is a demonstration of the commitment and generosity of philanthropist Charles R. Wood and actor Paul Newman. Since the Double H officially opened its doors on July 4, 1993, it has served over 60,000 children dealing with life-threatening illnesses from around the world. It was the second “Hole in the Wall Camp” in what has become a worldwide network of not-for-profit recreational and therapeutic experiences for children with serious illness.
The Process
Here at Dynamic Events we have a brilliant in-house design team that could create a bespoke game screen to include sponsor branding and in game sponsor content on our award winning app. The sponsor logos appeared on the main game screen as a sponsored round. Then when participants opened the sponsored rounds there was information on the sponsor company prior to any challenges taking place.
Double H Ranch went about inviting their corporate partners and clients to join this exciting and interactive fundraising event - The Not So Trivial Trivia Night!
The Result
The virtual event was a roaring success. 37 teams in total took part, all participants coming from the greater New York area.
The virtual fundraiser took place on zoom which allowed us to share Double H Ranch videos and we used breakout rooms to give teams their own space to complete the challenge using our award winning app.
Our special technology allows us to provide for team collaboration so you can work together, remotely, to complete tasks and challenges as one team. Our app allows all participants to see each challenge on their app. The team captain is the only person who can put in the answer on behalf of their team. So all teams must discuss each challenge as a team before the captain inserts the answer on behalf of the team.
Double H were delighted with how the event went and it helped them connect with their corporate sponsors and clients at a time when connecting with people was very difficult.
